Antisocial behaviour on the web
is becoming a critical problem with a significant influence on the today’s society. It can have many forms and faces ranging from spreading misinformation to misbehaviour of users, such as hating, trolling or cyber-bullying.
REBELION
is a research project which is focused on finding novel approaches how to fight with online antisocial behaviour by means of artificial intelligence.
REBELION involves three universities located in Slovakia which established a cooperation with several additional partners.
How we help to fight
with online antisocial behaviour?
1. Characterization
We are studying different forms of antisocial behaviour – their characteristics and manifestations in order to understand how and when they occur on the web
2. Detection
We are researching novel AI-based models and methods to detect antisocial behaviour – we specifically focus on wider context in which antisocial behaviour occurs and on interaction of AI methods with humans
3. Mitigation
We are finding effective strategies how to mitigate negative consequences of antisocial behaviour – by providing arguments as well as teaching web users
